The kindreds of Arizona and The Asatru Alliance Inc. Proudly announce plans for AlThing 44. This historic gathering of Odinn’s Nation is open to members and supporters of the Asatru Alliance.
WHEN:
From September/Harvest 20 through 24 2273 Runic Era.
WHERE:
At a reserved group site near Payson Arizona. This site has been used for numerous AlThings in the past.
ADMISSION FEE:
By reservation only. Due to the extreme cost increases in food and site registration, we must increase pricing as follows. We also realize that this may be difficult for some families. If this is a hardship, we ask that you please contact Sven (sven@asatru.org), and we will work with you. We are, after all, family. Advance payment schedule: $95 per individual and $115 per family, including minor children. Adult children (over 18) should pay $45.00 each. At the gate: $110 per individual and $135 per family, including minor children. Adult children (over 18) should pay $50 each. Your admission fee includes 8 meals and on-site lodging fees. Discounts will be given to those who do not attend all 5 days.
ALTHING:
We will conduct a Formal Thing where delegates of Alliance Kindreds freely discuss issues pertaining to the Asatru Community. All issues will be discussed in the spirit of tribal unity.
RITUALS:
A Tyr Blot will officially open the AlThing on Thorrsday afternoon. Thorrsday night Formal Sumbel. A Blessing of Steel during the Tyr Blot. Friggablot on Friggasdag afternoon. A Satyrsday Odinn Blot. Ceremonies of the Folk.
FEASTS:
Every night. A Formal Feast of traditional proportions on Satyrsday night. A hot breakfast will be served every morning. The famous Spam breakfast on Sunnasday morning.
GAMES:
The 39th Annual Viking Games, events for all ages and prizes for all winners.
SEMINARS:
Will be presented by various Guilds and others of the Community.
BREWERS GUILD COMPETITION:
The 39th Annual Mead Brewers Competition will be conducted by the Brewers Guild. All mead brewers are invited to participate.
SKALDIC COMPETITION:
Our 4th Annual Skaldic competition will be held, all are invited to participate!
OTHER ACTIVITIES:
A market for Asatru artists and vendors. An auction to benefit the
Alliance General Fund. A raffle to benefit the World Tree Outreach
Ministry and the Hearth & Home Fund (benefitting Asatruar in emergency need). Events for the AsaKids.
Althing Shirt pre-order: is closed. Shirts will be available on site on a first come, first served basis.
